Just some quick news bytes before I return to my riveting pursuits. The gallery has also been updated with a few new pictures of the Freehills debating final, Julian Burnside's public lecture, and other university events.

- For want of a more determinate signifier, these 'trippy' images will leave you reeling. The black hole one gives me the creeps...
- Another interesting Creative Commons project - this time an exhibit of illegal artwork. Now you too can use corporate trademarks with impunity!
- Interesting astronomy article about magnetars and x-class solar flares, which wreak havoc upon Earthly radio electronics. I wonder how this would effect wireless computer networks.

While we're on the subject of the High Court, it appears they have some rather spiffy memorabilia to commemorate 100 years of falling asleep paying attention at the bench. They also seem to be in need of a casual rate cleaner: $20.86 per hour (plus you might get to visit the secret cloakrooms). Well, that's one way to get a foot in the door...
