The whole family makes a trip to Broken Heads, where we walk and swim. On our way out, we encounter a huge traffic jam caused by many idiotic drivers parking on the entry side of a very narrow dirt road, leaving only one lane accessible to both inbound and outbound traffic. Predictably, inbound eventually encounters outbound. We, being outbound, and in a road train of some 3 cars, press ahead (forcing the oncoming traffic, some carrying trailers, to reverse down a steep incline on a narrow road around tight corners, some inches away from expensive sportscars stupidly parked in impractical locations). So incensed with the audacity of our fellow driver are we that a ‘tip off’ call is made to the local police about the illegal parking. Eventually, the family makes it to lunch, after which we disband and a sleepy afternoon ensues.
