One of these days I'm going to have to learn the names of all the trees in my neighbourhood, so that I can be a tad more articulate when referring to 'that pink flower'. Other than taking this brief stroll around the garden at sunset, today I spent quite a while bringing the gallery and visual diary up to date.

Update: according to a learned friend, the flower is called a Cr&ecute;pe Myrtle.
