Unlike this quiet vista overlooking a valley mid-way between the coast and Mullumbimby, Byron Bay is not a very nice place at the moment. Its under-performing sewage system and over-performing tourist economy mean I try to avoid it as much as possible. This road is the quickest, most scenic way to get there when I do want to go for a swim, however.
